Ted Shapiro is News 7�s Chief Meteorologist.Ted holds a Master�s Degree in meteorology, is both an American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association member and is a trained Skywarn Spotter. Ted attended Lyndon State in Vermont and has done weather for Vermont Public Radio in the past. He says that�s when he visited (and fell in love with) Maine. He was an Instructor in Broadcast Meteorology Performance for Mississippi State University. Ted says the very first phone call he EVER made was to 936-1212 ... the local weather report.
